It all started when I was six years old. My dad and uncle took me to my first White Sox game. Before the game, Ray Durham was signing above the Sox dugout. I asked my dad what the point of him doing that was. He explained to me that people enjoy getting autographs from famous people and sometimes before games, you'll see players signing for fans. My uncle bought me a baseball and told me to walk over and get it signed by Ray Durham. I did just that, and my collection has soared ever since.
I always wanted something big of my own that was somewhat unique. I have been extremely fortunate to have been blessed with many friends, but very few of them are truly interested in collecting autographs. I used to only have a few autographs of my own that I had gotten before sporting events until a few years ago when I found out about the concept of TTM autographs. I sent a card to Pat Neshek, and he signed it and sent it back to me. I thought that was the coolest thing, and I haven't looked back since that day.
